Thai White Rice
The long grain Thai White Rice, also known as Frangipani Rice, is grown across Thailand. It may exist in its native form or in strains that have been hand-picked and harvested using particular methods. Given its exceptional softness and fluff, the rice should be eaten right away to avoid it solidifying over time. Frangipani rice is delicious when served with soup or curry and works best in fried rice recipes.
The high plateaux of northern Thailand is the source of this highly scented long grain rice. This priceless delicacy has long been prepared for the top Siamese court dignitaries.
